Veterans Benefits Administration

The Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) provides benefits and services to Veterans and their families in a manner that honors their service. From disability and other types of compensation to home loans and education, Veterans can connect with us to receive the benefits they’ve earned.

We live our mission every day to serve Veterans who have "borne the battle" in an energetic and collaborative work environment. Of our 25,362 employees, 54% are Veterans. We have 56 regional offices and eight business lines to support Veterans and help them get on the path to realizing the American Dream, through home ownership, education and other assistance.

National Cemetery Administration

Through the National Cemetery Administration (NCA), VA operates more than 140 national cemeteries and 33 soldiers’ lots and monument sites across the United States. More than 4 million Americans, including Veterans of every war and conflict, are buried in VA’s national cemeteries. VA also provides funding to establish, expand, improve and maintain more than 115 Veteran cemeteries in 48 states and territories, including tribal trust lands, Guam and Saipan.
